Possible results
This is how the app describes the results. You will see yours after the last question.
Hear Me Out
For you, a good apology starts with listening. Before you accept an apology, you want to be sure the other person knows what they're apologizing for. You need to say what hurt and see it land. Once you hear “I get it, that must have hurt,” the anger usually fades on its own. A rushed “okay, okay, I'm sorry” has the opposite effect on you.
No Buts
What you value most is a simple “that was on me.” To you, an apology is above all the courage to own something. You don't need grand gestures or long talks: a clear “that wasn't okay of me” is enough. Excuses, blaming stress and turning it back on you leave you feeling even worse than before the apology.
Actions Over Words
You believe an apology that comes with something concrete. Words are cheap to you until something follows them. An apology becomes real when the other person tries to fix what broke: makes up for the canceled evening, replaces the broken mug, takes your chores off your hands. A gesture like that says “I care” more clearly than the most beautiful speech.
Fresh Start
An apology counts for you when something changes afterward. You're not after anyone groveling. You want to know the same situation won't be back next week. That's why you value an apology with a plan the most: “next time I'll call if I'm running late.” And then you watch whether the plan works. When you see the change, you forgive with your whole heart.
Hug It Out
You make up fastest through affection. For you, a fight is only really over when the warmth comes back. You may not have talked everything through yet, but when your partner hugs you, sits down next to you or makes you laugh, you feel you're on the same side again. Silence and coldness after a fight hurt you more than harsh words.
