Website privacy
This page covers only the liskove.pl website: the fox’s letter (our newsletter) with the launch trial code, the public quiz, the referral page and the link counters. The Liskove app has its own Privacy Policy.
1. Controller
The controller of your data is Maksymilian Waszkiewicz, ul. Słonimska 24/30, 15-028 Białystok, Polska.
Email: kontakt@liskove.pl
2. What we collect
- The fox’s letter: your email address, the language of the page, where you signed up (for example the sign-up window), the short link you came from (for example tt-3d), the time of your consent and, if you tell us, your phone type (iPhone or Android).
- Link counters: when you open a short link or tap the App Store button, we save the link name, the type of event, the phone type, the app the page was opened in (for example TikTok) and the country. We do not save your IP address or any identifier, so this record does not identify you.
- The quiz "How well do you know me?" (liskove.pl/k/...): your name on the leaderboard, your answers, the time and a hash of a random token stored in your browser, so one browser answers once. The quiz creator sees them in the app, and anyone with the link sees your name and score on the leaderboard. They stay until the creator deletes the answer or the quiz, at most 180 days after the quiz was created. To have your name removed, write to the contact address with the quiz link and your name.
- The referral page (liskove.pl/z/...): it shows the first names of the referring couple to anyone with the link; the couple shares it themselves. We save nothing from your visit.
- Request limits on the quiz and the referral page use only a hash of your IP address with a key that changes every day. The counters disappear after a day and the address itself is never stored.
- Hosting: Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. Like every web server, it briefly processes your IP address and browser data to deliver the page and stop attacks.
3. Why and on what legal basis
- The fox’s letter, the launch email and the trial code: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the consent to receive marketing by email required by Polish electronic communications law). The sign-up only counts after you click the confirmation link.
- The link counters and website security: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in knowing which of our profiles bring people to Liskove and in keeping the website safe.
4. Who processes the data for us
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, security and the subscriber database.
- Supabase: the quiz and referral database (servers in Ireland, EU).
- Resend: sending our emails.
Both act on our instructions under a data processing agreement. They may process data outside the European Economic Area, based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- An unconfirmed sign-up: up to 30 days.
- A confirmed sign-up: until you unsubscribe. The link to do that is in every email.
- Link counters: they contain no personal data.
6. Your rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time with the link in our email or by writing to kontakt@liskove.pl. You can also ask for access to your data, its correction, deletion, restriction or a copy, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa).
7. Cookies
The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and has no tracking scripts. Your browser remembers only that you closed the sign-up window, so it does not show it again too soon. Cloudflare may set a technical security cookie during an attack.
8. Changes
We will publish any change on this page with a new date. Last updated: October 19, 2026.
